This means transitioning to low-carbon materials, accelerating renewable energy use and partnering across the industry to reduce climate impact.
OUR NET ZERO PATHWAY IS GUIDED BY SCIENCE
Pandora’s net zero ambition reflects both our heritage of responsible business practices and commitment to drive decarbonisation across the jewellery industry.
We have set bold, science‑based climate targets that guide our transformation. We are reducing emissions while supporting long‑term, sustainable business growth with initiatives like powering our operations with 100% renewable electricity, crafting jewellery with 100% recycled silver and gold and engaging with suppliers to limit impact across our value chain.
Our roadmap is grounded in accountability. Each Executive Leadership Team member owns a decarbonisation pathway for their area of the business, ensuring we can identify opportunities, remove barriers and accelerate action towards our 2030 emissions-reduction targets and 2040 net zero goal.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Pandora's new distribution centre in Maryland will be LEED Silver Certified, meeting rigorous standards for energy efficiency, water consumption, and sustainable design.
90% REDUCTION IN OWN OPERATIONS
Reduce emissions from own operations by at least 90% by 2025, compared to 2019 baseline (Scopes 1 and 2, market-based). Target achieved in 2024.
Most of Pandora’s emissions come from our value chain, so achieving our net zero ambitions requires deep collaboration with suppliers, partners and other stakeholders.
50% REDUCTION IN TOTAL EMISSIONS
Reduce total greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030, compared to 2019 baseline (Scopes 1, 2 and 3, market-based).
TOWARDS NET ZERO BY 2040
Achieve net-zero emissions across all operations and value chains by 2040 (Scopes 1, 2 and 3, market-based).
