Decarbonising Our Value Chain

We aim to maintain industry leadership in operational decarbonisation by improving operational efficiency and continuously investing in low‑carbon solutions.

In 2025, our new distribution centre in Hamburg, Germany achieved DGNB Platinum certification, DGNB's highest rating for sustainability in design, construction and performance. DGNB is a German sustainability certification for buildings, assessing environmental, economic and social performance across the building’s life cycle.

CUTTING EMISSIONS ACROSS OUR OPERATIONS

Pandora’s own operations including crafting facilities, distribution centres, offices and owned stores have been powered by 100% renewable electricity since 2024.

Our crafting facilities in Thailand have operated on 100% renewable electricity since 2020 through a combination of on‑site solar generation, renewable electricity certificates (including EKOenergy and Green‑e certified RECs), and our first biomass power purchase agreement at the Lamphun facility, introduced in 2024.

WORKING WITH SUPPLIERS TO REDUCE VALUE CHAIN EMISSIONS

Most of Pandora’s emissions come from our value chain, so achieving our net zero ambitions requires deep collaboration with suppliers, partners and other stakeholders.

We are engaging suppliers through, for example, decarbonisation programmes, renewable electricity adoption, capability building and clear expectations linked to our strategic climate goals.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Transitioning suppliers to renewable electricity
  • Reducing emissions in material production and processing
  • Improving logistics efficiency
  • Accelerating innovation across manufacturing steps.

By strengthening these partnerships, we can deliver meaningful and measurable reductions across our entire footprint.

OUR PATH TO NET ZERO BY 2040

Pandora has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by 2040 — a goal aligned with climate science and approved by the SBTi.

Key pillars of our long‑term pathway include:

  • Transitioning to low‑ and zero‑carbon materials
  • Expanding renewable electricity across our supply chain
  • Advancing circularity through recycled silver and gold
  • Supporting innovation in materials and manufacturing
  • Ensuring transparency and integrity in how we measure and report emissions.

We remain committed to leading by example and driving positive change across the industry.
